I want to turn my stupid !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! well the money from selling it, Seriously guys, someone please buy it!, into an off roader. And being British and constantly making “poor” vehicle choices I have decided I need a P38 Rang Rover for my Overland rig. I have loved this body style since they came out when I was a kid. Which is probably why i am smitten by them. They have just enough classic Land Rover look with modern 90's equipment (more than enough for me).
That factory nav is beautiful
Well I narrowed my search down to 2 candidates so I really need my bike to sell so I can go off roading.
Seems to have been used off road before and I could do preventative head gaskets at this price
Second choice because nicer at least exterior wise, but $ !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
Bonus: This would look stunning towing my Sprite around

I too am a fan of P38s. I just hope you’re either comfortable with a wrench or have a hearty maintenance budget.

I would be very happy to wrench on it and remove the air suspension for a nice coil over conversion

If I buy one I will give you the old motor as payment for LS swapping mine. How does that sound?

I’m pretty sure there’s nowhere you could overland in the UK that would take you far enough from a Land Rover repair facility for it to be a problem.
In the US, I’d definitely bring plenty of provisions, because the risk of becoming stranded somewhere far from help is high.

Oh they are fairly reliable once you do head gaskets and remove air suspension.
